Elton and Jennifer Denson are the parents of 8 children and owners of Oxcart Dreams. Elton is the chief blacksmith and Jennifer’s specialty is copper artistry and product design. When they are not working together in the forge, they can be found with their children, home-schooling, gardening, or snuggled up with a good book.
Each of their children is learning to contribute to the business. They are often seen at shows helping with customer service, set-up and break-down, and demonstrations. The boys have all discovered a love of blacksmithing, while one of our daughters is interested in the marketing and visual communications side of things. All of them are learning bits and pieces of the smithing trades, as well as the ins and outs of running a business.
